About

Jared is the Substance Abuse and Harm Reduction Education Coordinator in the Office of Health Promotion and Resilience. He provides overdose response trainings and outreach on harm reduction resources on campus.

As a harm reductionist, Jared recognizes that everyone has their own unique and dynamic relationship with substances, and that everyone has a valid reason for their choices to use or not use a substance. Through his work, he empowers others to advocate for themselves and the people they care about.

Personal Wellness Strategies

Sailing, photography, hiking, reading, journaling, meditation, or a good mosh pit. It’s important to find whatever works in each moment! Apps for meditation and screen time (both free!) have helped me tremendously.
