Beat the Blues!
Welcome back to the start of winter quarter! As we invite a new beginning to the year, it is important to recognize how winter can impact our community’s mental health. To support your well-being, Health Promotion and Resilience is teaming up with campus partners to provide events and workshops throughout the quarter. Check back often for updates, and follow us on Instagram!

Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
Every season has its beauty, but it can be challenging during the winter to have the same energy as we do during the spring and summer months.
For some, winter can bring with it seasonal depression that saps our energy reserves and causes us to have difficulty concentrating and experience feelings of listlessness, sadness, or hopelessness.
If you are concerned that you may be experiencing seasonal depression, call us at 360-650-3164 to arrange a phone consultation with one of our therapists. If you need crisis support, we offer crisis appointments by calling 360-650-3164. If you are thinking about suicide, please reach out for support. 24/7 resources are available. Call the 988 National Crisis & Suicide Lifeline at 988 or text HOME to the Crisis Text Line at 741741.
